Disposition:
- Low self esteem - Stems from his childhood, when his family locked him away because he was a wizard. They let him work but wouldn't let him leave the house, and his sisters were verbally abusive, calling him ugly, lazy, cowardly, and stupid. He bought into it, and always felt apologetic for being a problem. It makes him shy about approaching people at times, cautious about the impressions he makes on people, and fearful of making errors.
- Friendly - Despite thinking poorly of himself, once he manages to work up the courage to approach someone, he is outgoing, bubbly, sweet, and generous. He makes friends with other wizards in the manor more easily than one might expect, even getting the ultra-contrary Owen to be less than awful at times. Outside of the Western wizards, he's especially close with the equally gentle and kind Heathcliff (who he wants to collaborate with, but fears possible creative disagreement) and gregarious Rutile (who loves art)! He'll strive to make friends in most situations, and absolutely thrives on positive interactions.
- Emotionally sensitive - A good and bad thing. His innate caring and sensitivity makes him empathetic, to the point that he can even get upset on behalf of others, as in Walpurgis when he hears people implying terrible things about his mentor, Rustica. It also means he can be upset and discouraged easily at times, and won't always be assertive about things for fear of upsetting the other party. When his kindness is thrown in his face in main story, it takes an incredible pep talk from Rustica to pull him out of crying and melancholy. He is attuned to the moods of others most of the time and tries hard to not upset people or rock the boat--beyond when he's just being an odd wizard!
- Kind and giving - In his location stories, Chloe is uncomfortable going back to his hometown, but does so in order to help the children there, who are in danger because of a man falsely claiming to be a wizard. His love of sewing stems from a desire to make people smile, and he always wants people to look their best. In the Valentine's 2021 event he takes a commission for the first time, and the desire to make it perfect so he can help the man succeed in asking out his crush causes him to work and rework countless times until he deems the outfit adequate. Even then, he worries it's not good enough--not because of his own reputation, but because it might be associated with a bad experience for the man and might not help him.
- Reliable - He takes care of Rustica, waking him up in the morning, getting him dressed, doing his hair, making his tea, keeping him from turning people into birds... He also helps out around the manor whenever he can. In the 1st Anniversary story he assists Rustica in stabilizing the Cain when he's near death, and prays fervently over his fallen body, because he believes in the power of good wishes. He does this steadfastly, even when Owen objects, and even convinces Owen to pray with him. He also stands his ground on behalf of others, such as in Summer 2020 event when he stands up to the woman trying to con Rustica into buying her expensive trinkets. His willpower and determination to protect those he loves surpasses his shier tendencies, and he won't hesitate to call the other Western wizards out when they're being a little too weird or rowdy.
- Eccentric - He's a wizard, so at the end of the day there are always contradictions. He'll approach things from odd logical angles, or be excited about something that's a little too dangerous to be fun. He's shy and unconfident, but at the same time he's the first one to approach someone who interests him to try to become friends. He fears himself a burden, yet warmly assists anyone and everyone who might come calling for his help. He's so observant that he can tell if one of his comrades smells wrong, but it also vaguely airheaded about things from time to time. There isn't a single wizard who isn't a bundle of eccentricity!

Suitability:
- Chloe will actually like Synchrony once he makes some friends! He likes the warm connections he makes with other people and will be excited that it's almost tangible in Noctium. It will be something he will seek out to keep his manna high, so he can use his magic.
- Gembonded powers won't be anything special or new to him, considering he's a wizard. Different magic will take some getting used to, but he'll figure it out with time.
- Transformations will probably fascinate him, even when they're scary - Western wizards are thrill seekers and masters of transformation and disguise! Emotional effects or mood changes will probably be a little unsettling at first, but as long as he has support from others he'll bounce back. He's kind of impossible to sink fully.
- Native gems will fascinate him, whether they like it or not. He'll want to know everything about the world, its people, and try his best to help everyone equally, even if they're cruel or unkind. That's how he treats humans, too!
- Being away from his home and having to adjust to his power source being different will be the biggest adjustment for Chloe. Keeping a balance between Manna and his magic use will probably result in a few small foibles here and there, but with his gentle charisma and bubbliness he'll surely make plenty of connections.
- The technology levels will make him pretty excited, since it'll seem to him a lot like what Akira Magi talked about.

Condition upon arrival: Healthy and in high spirits! He's just recently completed a lot of marathon sewing, so he's probably a little tired.

Abilities: {NOTE: The links lead to canon visual references I thought might help explain things better than just words!}

Magic! Chloe is a wizard, and he can use several kinds of magic. However, compared to a lot of wizards he knows, he's not very powerful so he's at a very basic level. Wizards at Chloe's power level have to use a magic phrase to invoke their magic. He can do a number of things, including very basic healing of wounds, cast basic blessings to protect health and bring happiness, make magical sugar (which has restorative/minor healing properties), make light (like a small light or small fireworks), multiply items in small quantities, enhance his senses slightly, and the equivalent of telekinesis (see the next section). There are undoubtedly other spells he can perform that we just haven't seen specifically described in detail in stories, so basic elemental/nature magic is almost definite. He can also summon his broom and fly on it!

Western Wizards are usually skilled at transformation magic (transforming themselves and others, specifically) and mimicry, but Chloe's specific magical talent is actually in creating, that is, transforming and manipulating objects! He primarily uses this to transform fabric and other items into beautiful, magically sewn clothing and items. His other special magical ability is that he can induce a state of temporary death in people. It's never used for ill. He mostly uses it to hold them still while dressing and fitting.

He can also sew by hand, make basic armor and accessories, and makes heckin' good tea. He's better at adulting than a lot of the older wizards, which I think deserves some recognition. He can ALSO play several musical instruments (including bells/handbells, trumpet, and probably somewhat piano and/or harpsichord), compliments of his mentor, Rustica.

His magical tool (think weapon) is a sewing box he can summon and dismiss at will. He also has a magical amulet (a single bottle of nail polish), which serves to help him focus and restore his power when he's away from where he usually relaxes to recharge his power. All wizards in Mahoyaku basically have a specific mana area that focuses and charges their magic, and the amulet kind of acts as a portable battery of sorts, like a portable version of that mana area. Please let him have his sewing box (a physical item that has heavy sentimental value and personal importance, which is what makes it take on the magical power to be able to be used as a weapon) and amulet, if possible, as they have importance to his overall well-being and ability to stay stable and recharge/refocus. I am 100% cool with nerfing/changing the functionality as needed to align with power being tied to Manna rather than the natural magic of his world! His amulet is important to him, so even if it does nothing, he'd retain it as a physical item.

Inventory: His usual outfit, which includes his sewing equipment thigh harness with shears, thread, needles, and other small tools. His sewing box, which contains much of the same. His amulet, which is a nail polish bottle. His broom. Itemized this is: sewing box (item 1), amulet (2), shears (3), a pincushion with pins (4), a package of needles (5), a seam ripper (6), thread spools (7-9), and broom (10)!
